Front desk is not 24/7, check-in after 6PM will result in $25 CAD fee.
Deposits
A pre-authorization fee of $200 (damage deposit) will be taken upon your check-in. This pre-authorization is not a charge to your account, but rather a temporary hold on those funds. We would like to inform you that upon check-out, it can take anywhere from 24 hours to 30 days for the original pre-authorization to be removed by your bank. Generally, most banks release the hold within 3-5 days.
CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS
Guests must be at least 19 years of age to check in at the Hotel. In the interests of security and to prevent fraud, guests are required to confirm their identity by providing their valid government-issued photo identification (driver’s license, passport, etc.) at check-in. A valid, signed, and pre-approved credit card in the name of the guest registration is also required. It is your responsibility to fully understand how your bank processes pre-authorizations and charges to your credit/debit card. Some banks hold pending authorizations for up to 30 business days.
GUEST REGISTRATION
Guests must be 19 years and older. We require valid contact information from the guest making the reservations including first and last name, address, phone number, email address, and signature. The names of all guests occupying the room must be registered. Information regarding your license plate is also gathered at check-in for security.
CHECK-OUT PROCEDURE
Check-out time is 11AM. Please check-out with Front Desk so that housekeeping may begin cleaning your room as soon as possible. A charge may apply for late check-out.
Reservation/Payment Terms:
Reservations and registrations require a valid major credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Credit cards must be signed. Cash payments are accepted with a pre-authorized credit card. Guests must present a credit card and government ID. Full payment is required at check-in. Cheques and foreign currency are not accepted. In case of a no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged and is non- refundable.
Smoking:
No smoking of any kind is permitted inside. Use the Designated Smoking Area outside. Smoking inside the building and in the room incurs an additional $300 charge.
Parking:
All vehicles must be registered upon check-in. Parking is at the owner's risk. The hotel is not liable for any damage or theft of vehicles or contents. Vehicles left without consent may be towed at the owner's expense. No vehicle repairs are allowed on hotel premises.
ROOM KEY CARDS
Room keys are issued to the registered guest(s). No room keys will be issued to youth under 19 at any time. A valid I.D. is required if you have lost your key and require a duplicate. Please return room key cards to the Front Desk at Check-out.
HOUSEKEEPING/ROOM INSPECTION:
Housekeeping can be requested by calling the front desk at 250-498-5464 (Call or Whatsapp)
FREE Wi-Fi ACCESS
Free Wi-Fi is available for registered guests at the hotel. The Wi-Fi code may change without notice. Signal strength may vary depending on location, equipment status, and interference.
DAMAGE AND/OR THEFT OF HOTEL PROPERTY:
Please note that you and your party will be held responsible for any damage caused to the hotel's property during your stay. We may charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred, including but not limited to property damage, smoking fees, cleaning fees, guest compensation, etc.

Alcohol:
Alcohol brought by guests of legal age must only be consumed in their own room, not in public areas.
EMERGENCY OR FIRE
Please notify the Front Desk immediately in the event of a fire or other emergency. An emergency exit map can be found on the back of your room door.
LOST & FOUND POLICY
King Hotel is not responsible for any lost, stolen, misplaced or damaged items. If you leave behind any valuable item, call us immediately at (250-498-5464) . King Hotel doesn't assume responsibility for lost items. Any non-perishable item found by Housekeeping after check-out will be kept secure for up to 14 days.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
King Hotel & Suites is a private establishment and reserves the right to refuse service for any reason. King Hotel may refuse service for failure to pay, intoxication, or disorderly conduct. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 9 AM. Please keep noise levels low and avoid congregating or running in hallways. Notify the Front Desk of any disruptive guests.
Terms & Conditions: - Please note that smoking is not allowed in the hotel room. A $300 fine will be charged if evidence of smoking is found by hotel staff. Any damage or missing items in the room will be charged to the guest's credit card, and the hotel reserves the right to charge the guest's credit card or send an invoice for any damage or theft discovered after the guest has left.
- This property is privately owned. Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or loss of valuables.
- Full payment for the room is due and payable upon arrival. No refunds after check-in.
