Property Policies & Check-in Check-out

Hello! Our property manager, Petra Vasquez (+52 1 415 113 9762), will greet you at the property upon your arrival and be available to you throughout your stay. Petra will provide you with a swipe card for the gated entry; provide you with a key for your unit; take you through a walk-through of your unit and the property; and show you how to view and provide any visitors or deliveries entry using your remote access video doorbell. Petra will also share how to use the control(s) for the flat screen in your unit to enjoy Netflix and other streaming programs to which you subscribe. Petra will explain our 5-stage water purification system which makes the entire house water safe for drinking and bathing. She will also explain how our complimentary mesh wireless blankets the entire property providing 100% uptime through two internet service providers with 5G wireless. Each unit has a property guide summarizing these wonderful features designed to make your stay safe, pleasurable and a memorable experience for years to come.

• Pied à Terre at Casitas Aparicio is an adults only smoke-free environment. Children ages16-17 will be allowed if accompanied by an adult in all public areas of the property at all times.
• Smoking is prohibited anywhere on the property.
• Check in 3:00pm Check out 11:00am Late Check-in charge after 8:00pm: $20USD.

Late check-out after 11:00am is available at PropertyManager’s discretion until12:00 PM with written consent from Manager PRIOR TODATE Of DEPARTURE. 
For Guests that check out later than 11:00 AM without prior approval and before 3:00 PM, alate fee will be chargedto their credit card on file at $50.00 per hour. 
In the event guests check out on or after 3:00 PM, guests will be charged for another day of rent at thefull prevailing rack rate for the unit(s) occupied. If guest fails to vacate on or before the agreed uponcheck out time,Manager reserves the right to move guest belongings toa safe area outside of their unit so thatthe room can be cleaned and prepared for the next guest arrival. Guestacknowledges that Piedà Terre at Casitas Aparicio is a no smoking andno pets’ property for all spaces interior and exterior. Failure to honor this policy will result in a $50.00/day finecharged to Guest credit card.  Guests agree to rent the items listed below for theduration of their tenancy at no cost and leaveall rented items in their unit at time of check out. In the event Guest wouldlike toremove and /or keep any of the rented items at thetime of check out (including lost key or lostswipe card), Guest agrees to authorize their credit card to be charged for theitemstaken in accordance with the purchase prices listedbelow. Any additional items missing suchas towels or blankets will also incur a charge in an amount discretionary tothe management. Upon confirmation and payment of Guest reservation, Guest acknowledges,understands and agrees to the terms and conditions of our policy.

Force Majeure. Pied-a-terre management, its owners, successors and/or assigns (Management), shall  not be liable or responsible to Guest, nor be deemed to have defaulted under or breached its policies, for any failure or delay in fulfilling or performing any term of the rental when and to the extent such failure or delay is caused by or results from acts beyond Management's reasonable control, including, without limitation, the following force majeure events (“Force Majeure Event(s)”) that frustrates the purpose of this Agreement: (a) acts of God; (b) flood, fire, earthquake or explosion; (c) war, invasion, hostilities (whether war is declared or not), terrorist threats or acts, riot or other civil unrest; (d) government order or law; (e) actions, embargoes or blockades in effect on or after the date or rental; (f) action by any governmental authority; (g) national or regional emergency; (h) strikes, labor stoppages or slowdowns or other industrial disturbances; (i) epidemic, pandemic or similar influenza or bacterial infection (which is defined by the United States Center for Disease Control as virulent human influenza or infection that may cause global outbreak, or pandemic, or serious illness); (j) emergency state; (k) shortage of adequate medical supplies and equipment; (l) shortage of power or transportation facilities; and (m) other similar events beyond the reasonable control of Management.
