This deposit is 100% refundable if canceled at least 30 days prior to check-in.
If canceled within 30 days of arrival, the deposit becomes non-refundable. However, we’re happy to apply it as a credit toward a future stay within 6 months of your original reservation. (Please note: rate differences may apply depending on dates and availability.)

Rates & Inclusions
Our nightly rates include daily breakfast, complimentary WiFi, air conditioning, daily cleaning service, and use of kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. All rates are quoted in USD and are subject to applicable taxes, including 15% Honduran Sales Tax and 4% Honduran Tourism Tax.
Deposit & Payment Policy
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, payable with a major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express). The remaining balance is due upon arrival and can be settled in cash (USD or HNL) or with Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.
Cancellation & Credit Policy
Cancellations made 30 days or more prior from your check-in date will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 30 days of your check-in date are nonrefundable. However, these cancellations will receive a credit equal to the deposit amount, valid toward a future stay within six months of the original check-in date. This policy applies only to reservations made directly through Puerta Azul and does not extend to third-party bookings. When booking through a third party, cancellations, early departures, late arrivals, and no-shows will be charged in accordance with the third party’s terms.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance, as Puerta Azul is not responsible for cancellations or interruptions due to illness, flight delays, airline cancellations, weather events, or other unforeseen circumstances. By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
